Career Summary:

University of Bristol degree in biochemistry (2004), University of Glasgow, degree in veterinary medicine and surgery (2008), University of Liverpool, RCVS Certificate in Equine Practice (2012) and modules completed in Diagnostic Imaging (2018), University of the West of England ILM Level 7 Certificate in Executive and Senior Leader Coaching and Mentoring (due to complete Spring 2022). Olly is a small animal and equine vet, training leadership coach and founder of The Meraki Initiative – a veterinary professional community platform that markets great veterinary places to work to help employers build their reputation. Olly graduated from Glasgow University in 2008 and has worked in clinical practice in UK, Australia and Singapore. After enduring unmet career expectations working in a poor workplace culture his passions pivoted to helping others fulfil their ambitions. Launching November 2021, Meraki exists to accelerate cultural change by inspiring cultural awareness and strengthening leadership to make the veterinary profession a better place to work, ultimately improving the wellbeing and sustainability of our workforce.
