General mixed practice from 1979 with 2 year break having 2 children. 1988 took on practice as sole owner and built team from 3 to 12 vets - in 2014 merged with 2 other practice teams locally and continued as MD of practice with a team of over 40 vets until I stepped down in 2019. Other roles include president of BVA and SPVS. 4 years as the organiser for the Lancaster Final Year Students Seminar. Joined Board of VDS as a Non Executive Director and spent 4 years as Chairman of VDS. Period as Trustee of Vetlife. Support Dean for new grads through the RCVS Professional Development Phase.
